Structured product comparison

Twenty tabs in. One table out.

DuelVS turns messy product information into the same fields, in the same units, side by side. Spot what’s different and skip what isn’t.

How DuelVS cleans up product research

Claims out. Specs in.

Marketing copy is written to win. A spec table has to be read like with like. DuelVS keeps the measurable part and drops the adjectives.

  • “Our most advanced camera ever.”
  • “Revolutionary AI.”
  • “Pro performance.”
  • “Incredible battery.”
  • “The brightest display yet.”

Messy world, structured data

17,889 dots. One per product.

Each dot is one product in the 48 categories on DuelVS’s homepage. They settle into rows because every product in a category is described with the same fields.

DuelVS says it indexes 23k+ products in total, including categories not shown on the homepage.

How DuelVS handles data

A comparison is only as good as its data. Here’s what DuelVS does to the numbers before you see them.

Read the full methodology →
  1. 01

    Sources

Official manufacturer specs and datasheets first, then technical documentation, cross‑checked against reputable reviews and product databases.

  2. 02

    Verification

Source validation → cross‑reference → unit standardization → format normalization → manual review of flagged or unusual values.

  3. 03

    Normalization

One unit per field (g, mm, mAh, W, nits). The same field names for every product in a category, so rows line up.

  4. 04

    Like with like

Comparisons stay inside one category. You can’t put a phone against a laptop.

  5. 05

    Rankings

Sorted by one measurable metric, in the direction that makes sense for it: lower weight first, higher capacity first.

  6. 06

    Corrections

Wrong value? Report it. Specs are updated when manufacturers publish corrections, and rankings recalculate as products are added.

No paid placement. DuelVS doesn’t accept payment to influence rankings, comparisons or product visibility.
